About The Artist

Khirstyn-Lien is the artist behind K Abstract, a Dallas and Orange County–based studio creating original textured acrylic paintings on canvas. Her work explores the interplay between structure and fluidity, using layered 3D mediums to build sculptural surfaces that shift with light and perspective.

Her creative foundation is shaped by a lifetime of disciplined movement and expression. Classically trained in opera for seven years, she developed a deep sensitivity to rhythm and composition, an influence that continues to inform the balance and flow within her work. Her early years in competitive tennis and English horseback riding, along with more recent pursuits in polo and golf, bring a sense of control, precision, and physicality into each piece.

Constant travel and exposure to new environments further shape her perspective, with inspiration drawn from both curated spaces and the subtleties of everyday life.

Creating since 2015, each work is built as a one-of-one composition designed to exist as both art and statement within modern, collected interiors.
